We believe in our product because we take care of it from the start! we make sure there are no surprises so we only produce beef from cattle that have been born and raised here. We never buy stock from the market for beef production. This allows us to provide a low stress life for our cattle and our old fashioned approach to livestock managment, on horseback, helps us achieve that.

We have been raising cattle now for over 30 years in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. There are many things that change, but one thing remains the same - our belief in great beef, and that its Grass Fed.

'English Beef Stew'

1lb stew meat trimmed

1/2 onion diced

3 medium sized carrots, peeled and sliced

1 small turnip, peeled and chopped

1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes with herbs

3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters

1 14.5oz can chicken or beef broth

2 beef stock cubes optional

3 tsp redcurrant jelly

2 tbsp corn starch with enough cold water to make a thin mix - to thicken before servig

Fresh crusty bread to serve.

Using a 4 quart saucepan, brown the onions in a little extra light olive oil, then add the beef and brown lightly. If using, crumble the stock cubes into the mixture and stir well. Add the can of tomatoes, the carrots, turnips and potatoes then carefully stir in enough stock to cover the ingredients. Simmer on a low heat for approx 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until all the vegetables are tender. Add the redcurrant and stir until dissolved then add the cornstarch mix and stir, simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until the gravy thickens, serve with crusty bread and enjoy!
