We could sit and brag till the cows come home about our dogs, my Dad always says 'You think all your geese are swans!' so we thought we would let some other people who have worked with or who own some do a little for us.... enjoy, and we will update this page as we get more comments, Thanks.
Gathering 500 replacement heifers with Horses and Dogs
"I was helping Justin gather cattle in the Castle Rock Pasture. Justin and the two dogs, Phoenix and King (Hank x Bay 2010) were at the west end. I rode west to meet up with him and I noticed a small bunch of cattle up over the ridge from the main bunch in the valley. I figured Justin was up there gathering them up to push to the valley. As I got closer, I saw the dogs bunching the small group tighter. To my surprise, I realized Justin was down in the valley with the main herd. Those two dogs had rounded up the cattle over the ridge and were pushing them off the hill to Justin. I know that they were too far away to hear Justin and he couldn't see them from where he was. It was the most amazing thing I think I've ever seen working dogs do. Either of those dogs are worth four of me!"

A note from Staridge
'Castle Rock Pasture' is around 3,000+, with an elevation of 7,000+ feet, foot hills with lots of rock, valleys and draws. It is one of our most challenging pastures to gather, and we couldn't do it without our dogs.
Owners of Staridge Cattle Dogs since 2010
'My husband and I have bought two female pups from Justin and Jackie Louderback (Staridge Cattle Dogs). I cannot say enough good things about the dogs. Both females are outstanding family dogs and working dogs. We have 6 year old twins that dress the dogs up and play with them. We run about 7,500 yearlings and 750 cows. We do everything horseback and with the dogs. Without the dogs help we would have to hire one and probably two people. They are well behaved and very instinctive, aggressive dogs. Sally and Lilly are also very helpful in the feedlot as they will go all the way back to the working area and bring whatever cattle are in the 'worked' pen back to the person opening the right pen gate. I would highly recommend Staridge Cattle Dogs!!!!!

'It was winter of 2010 when we picked up our first female from Staridge Ranch. We had seen both Hank (sire) and Bay (dam) work and we knew that probably any pup we picked out of that litter would be a great working dog.... little did we know that she would not just make a great working dog, she has been an EXCEPTIONAL dog that has changed our entire mindset on cattle dogs. So let me brag a little about this female that we call 'Bones', she started working pens at the stockyards with us in the harsh winters of Wyoming, then came with us to Amarillo, TX and worked Buffalo and we are now in South Texas where the summers are hot, the brush is thick and the cattle are usually wild. This dog could do it all, has done it all and has always given 110%. These dogs not only perform, but produce too, and are great around kids. You cannot go wrong buying a dog from Staridge and in the long run they will keep you from having to hire another hand!!'
